There are two reasons we started this shop:

1- We felt that the current #NotMyPresident apparel available out there didn't offer a clean style. Every shop we came across pushed for loud branding, lower quality garments, and tacky graphics. We wanted to fill the void for streamlined, minimalist #NotMyPresident goods. 

2- We also started this shop because like so many of you, we feel the system is broken. When a president-elect who is behind in over 2 million of the popular votes becomes commander-in-chief, there is definitely some disconnect between true democracy and the electoral process.

This is not about loving Hillary or disdain for Trump, but rather about the phenomenon that is the Electoral College. #NotMyPresident, to us, embodies the raw truth that for a majority of Americans, the new President-Elect is not who they voted for.

#NotMyPresident is not about protest, but quite literally reflects on the mere thought that the Electoral College, on an unprecedented scale, does not currently reflect our votes as individuals nor does it reflect our votes as a population.
